League of Russianspeaking Lawyers of Greece informs about the latest submission method for a residence permit in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Greece.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Greece said that because highly increased workload of the Department of Greek citizenship and immigration policies and in order to provide the best service to citizens and authorized lawyers, on application to the granting or renewal of residence permits, from Tuesday, December 1, 2015, filing of applications and related necessary documents should be carried out after prior approval date of visiting the service. To set the date of filing the application for grant or renewal of a residence permit, citizens can contact the competent service on 2131361700, daily from 9.00 am to 14.00. Authorized lawyers can arrange an appoint exclusively by e-mail (e-mail)in following way: dikigoroi1@ypes.gr (for lawyers with name that starts with letter “A” to “K”), dikigoroi2@ypes.gr (for lawyers with the name that starts with letter “L” etc) . The lawyer when submitting the request for the appointment must submit his/her personal data, its and his clients data (required passport number and country of issuance), and indicate the presence of a power of attorney. The maximum number of applications for lawyers – 4 per month. Within a reasonable time, the competent service shall inform in electronic form on the scheduled date and time of the visit of the Department of Greek citizenship and immigration policies (street Agiou Dionysiou 5 – Piraeus, Greece).
